Hookah in Canada

    hi there,
    like some of u might know, i'm in Canada right now to stay here for 5 months. I asked everbody I know if he or she might know shisha, hookah or waterpipe but they don't. I finally found a shop selling hookahs but no tobacco. It was a shop like a head shop or something...does anyone of u know a hookah shop in winnipeg or the state of washington (i'll go there after christmas) ? please tell me. I'll inform u if anything should change..

    also: 1. ich war auch shcon öfter in canada und dort sind Tabakprodukte ab 18 soweit ich weiß, kommst also nich unbedingt weit.

    well I asked the guy in the head shop but he had no tobacco. I'll continue my search and if I don't find anything I'll order smthn on the internet (hc or smthn) The fact that I'm not 18 yet doesn't matter...I found a page where I can order AF for 9.99$ and GAF for 14.95$ that sounds pretty good.

    hey guys,
    I finally found a shop. Actually it was more like a head shop or something but they had ONE hookah there the rest was sold out and still no tobacco :(.
    so I decided to order tobacco from Southsmoke.com. I think that this might be the best idea cuz the canadian taxes on tobacco is to fricken high like Iced_Earth_Fan already said (e.g. a pack of cigs is about $10).

    yep, that's pretty much what I'm gonna do soon. Especially cuz southsmoke has most tobacco on sale now (AF $9.99). I just hope that I don't need to pay canadian taxes on it.

    yeah, I think I'd call the southsmoke service centre to ask them about getting my money back if I have to pay taxes n duty. I'm already thinking about a trip to North Dakota and right now I'm looking for a shop there but can't find any.
    Anyways I just mailed some questions to 2 shops in the US.

    i guess you are allowed to order a smaller amount of tobacco without tax problems.. like 50-500gr. ... i mean th us and canada should have to high trade and tax - limitations for their border..

    I also got an asnwer from southsmoke saying that I could send it back if i need to pay canadian duties / taxes, I'd only have to pay the shipping costs and maybe up to 15% of the price for stocking.
    The only question is from which shop I should order (southsmoke, hookah-shisha or somesthing else ?) it's kinda gay that HC doesn't ship to Canada anymore.

    when u know that you make a weekend trip to the usa os so, ask a hotel if you can send a package to them and then pick it up. a friend from me has done this, he has paid 10$ to the hotel and get his package.

    hmm, this idea sound actually pretty good. I'm thinkin bout goin on a trip to the states. I also just found this shop The Hookah, they would declare it as "flavored" molasses and the shipping costs would only be $8,50. and I think in the x-mas time are many packages send so that the customs office will be busy :D

    I finally got my order a few days ago, no customs and no taxes :D
    I got 1.55 Kg finest Al Fakher and Al Amir but no hookah :rolleyes:
    I'm pretty excited bout smokin when i come back cuz I haven't smoked
    hookah for my entire stay (til now ;))
