Hm.. weird. I just tried out the exact same code and it worked. What if you would delete your signature and then put in the code again?

mh .. the code from your sig is working (also when i put it into my sig)maybe click in the signature-editor on the "Optionen" Button under the box.
then control, if there is the check set on "BBCode in Signatur deaktivieren.". if yes, deactivate this. -
