Also bisher sind meine Favorites Grillfackeln und Spare Rips, aber jetzt hab ich Halloumi entdeckt, türkischer Grillkäse. Absoluter Hammer! Dann noch ein netter Salat dazu und Thymian-Kartoffeln (oder einfach Kartoffeln in Alufolie in die Glut) und es kann gar nicht besser werden.

Halloumi darf bei mir auch bei keiner Grillsession fehlen..ist einfach megalecker.

Kennt ihr Berner Würstchen ?
Ich bin persöhnlich kein Fan von Steaks, deswegen mag ich lieber Geflügel.
Was auch voll lecker ist, ist wenn man einen Käse in Alufolie legt und dann Kräuter und Zwiebel und Gewürze hinzu gibt, dann macht man die Alufolie zu, also verpackt das ganze und legt es auf den Grill, sodass der Käse sich erwärmt und dann den Geschmack von dem Zeug, welches da drin ist aufnimmt und ist dann auch schön weich und das zu essen ist einfach köstlich

Der Preis ist natürlich ne Hausnummer...habe eher den im Auge: Weber 1221004 Compact Kettle, Holzkohle-Kugelgrill 47 cm, Schwarz: Amazon.de: Garten
Kommt drauf an für wie viele Leute man grillen will, aber die 10 cm weniger Durchmesser fallen halt schon auf und die Temperaturanzeige, die bei dem fehlt, kann auch sehr nützlich sein. Würd mir die Modelle mal im Baumarkt anschaun.

Mein Vater hat den von Cippo verlinkten Grill (oder ne Nummer größer). Ist nen solider Kugelgrill mit gutem Preis/Leistungs-Verhältnis. Habe darauf vor Kurzem nen schönes Stück Roastbeef indirekt gegrillt, das funktionierte ganz gut. Die Temperaturanzeige wird ein fanatischer Griller natürlich vermissen, gerade fürs indirekte Grillen, aber mit etwas Gefühl und Erfahrung kann man auch ohne jenes anständige Ergebnisse erzielen.
Für den ambitionierten Hobby-Griller der weg vom Discounter-Schrott will vollkommen ausreichend.

Wobei Blacksun mit seinem Einwand natürlich recht hat: Für ne richtige Grillparty ist er vermutlich zu klein. Für 4-6 Person passts aber.
Wer sich nicht bewegt, spürt seine Fesseln nicht!

200€ sind schon nicht wenig, aber da ein guter Grill 20+ Jahre halten kann, finde ich den Preis schon "in Ordnung".
Der letzte (gute, alte, gusseiserne) Grill hat 25 Jahre gehalten, der Weber ist erst 2 Jahre alt.

Siehste, mit dem Billiggrill kommst auch auf 10€/Jahr (30€/3Jahre, 200€/20 Jahre), nur macht das Grillen mit guten Grills mehr Spaß. :thumbsup:

Von Smokern hab ich keine Ahnung, aber ich kauf eigentlich immer lieber gute Qualität, als billig und dafür doppelt.
Wobei ich mir unter Smoker was ganz anderes vorstelle, aber um so einen zu kaufen oder zu bauen muss man schon bisschen verrückt sein. Link
Weber hat auch ein eigens Forum, aber am besten hat mir bis jetzt das verlinkte geholfen.

Zudem billigen Grill kann ich dir was sagen da mein Onkel diesen 2010 gekauft hat. Er hat bis zu diesem Jahr ohne große Pflege durchgehalten. Allerdings wurde er einmal nachlackiert. Gerostet hat er trotzdem gut. Grillen ging super auf ihm nur finde ich das obere Gitter als ziemlichen Quatsch. Für das Geld würde ich dann persönlich auch eher zum Weber Grill raten oder mal so in die Richtugn von einem Steingrill gucken langsam. Kosten zwar mehr aber halten für gewöhnlich ewig. Vorrausgesetzt ein Garten ist vorhanden.



Aber grillen ist eh in Deutschland eine Glaubensfrage :D

Ach ja, Cippo, falls du den "Smoker" verlinkt hast, weil es dir um s "Räuchern" geht, dann kann ich dir sagen, dass so ein Grill, wie du ihn verlinkt hast (Ohne extra Kammer für Holz und richtigem Kamin) gegenüber einem guten Kugelgrill eigentlich keinen Vorteil bringt.

Das funktioniert mit den Kugelgrills nämlich auch wunderbar. Das hab ich heute auch gemacht und zwar so:

Beispielsweise Buchenholz ca 1 Stunde lang in Wasser einweichen damit die Stücke nicht sofort "abrauchen" und ca nach Hälfte der Garzeit jeweils links und rechts auf die Kohle paar Stücke legen.
Nach 3 Minuten sieht das dann aus wie auf dem unteren Bild. :thumbup:

Zur Not muss man sie halt einladen, aber wenn sie den Kohlekamin in der Anfangsphase überstanden haben, ist das Räuchern auch kein Problem mehr. :P

Dort steht genau drin, wie man was zubereitet und hat bei mir bisher alles hervoragend geschmeckt :hail:
